Note that HIPAA does not automatically apply to an entity or person just because health information is involved, and it may not cover your transactions or communications with Vitality Health PLLC, the Medical Groups, the Providers, the Labs, or the Pharmacies.
If authorities deem Vitality Health PLLC a “business associate,” then, acting solely in that role, Vitality Health PLLC must follow certain HIPAA provisions regarding the “protected health information” (PHI) you provide to Vitality Health PLLC, the Medical Group, or the Providers.
